We will still escape! I take you across North America in 25 articles. Either a trip nearly 6 months. From north-west to south-east, let’s storm the United States! I propose without delay take off to Alaska.

Alaska is the penultimate state entered into the United States  in 1959 followed by a few months later of Hawaii which we will visit last.
The states all have a nickname and this one has two: « the last frontier » or « the land of the midnight sun ». Its motto: « north to the future ».
Alaska is the largest but least populated state in North America. Its capital is called Juneau.
Yes, we went cold but it was so hot in France … In your jackets, hats and mittens, the average temperature for a month of September is … 4 ° C. In other words, it’s winter temperatures here.

Alaska has 17 national parks. With breathtaking beauty, we will be able to observe many wildlife species. Among all, there is Denali National Park where you can see grizzly bear, caribou, black bear or Dall sheep. The park’s unique trail takes you to the largest peak in North America: the Denali culminating at 6190 meters.

If you want to see brown bears up close, you have to go to Katmai National Park & Preserve. There are observation platforms that will offer you beautiful panoramas.

For history buffs, the must-see place to visit is the Anchorage Museum, which traces 10,000 years of Alaska history.

Alaska is also glaciers. Take a trip to Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve. Large area located south east of the state’s inner passage. You’ll see breathtaking peaks like Mount Fairweather or the Grand Pacific Glacier.

Juneau, capital of Alaska is as beautiful as fascinating. It attracts many adventurers. You will find all the beauties of the state.
